DERMAPEN AND MICRO NEEDLING
Is this treatment right for me? If you have fine lines, wrinkles, scarring (like acne or surgical scarring),Dermapen and Micro Needling stimulate the body's own natural healing processes and collagen production.
I have tried the Dermapen and I was amazed by the difference in comfort of the treatment, those of you who have had needling will know what it is like and how important it is to find a treatment which is less painful. Electronically powered multiple needles vertically pierce the skin to enhance skin rejuvenation results, maintain skin integrity and reduce downtime.
Advantages of the Dermapen over Micro needling
- The automatic vibrating function is faster than a traditional dermal rollering/needling.
- Greatly reduced pain and discomfort due to the needles entering the skin vertically.
- Reaches awkward places (inner eye areas, around the nose etc. giving a better coverage).
- Increased effectiveness and absorption of products.
Both will
- Make the skin produce both collagen and elastin.
- Causing tightening and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Reduce scars.
- Reduce stretch marks.

Will it work? Micro needling is highly effective. The technique was discovered in the 1940's, but the methods of performing it today are much more sophisticated. Only Registered Nurses and Medical Practitioners are allowed to perform 2mm deep treatments.
Are you registered? Yes, since 1984. I'm also a member of the Royal College of Nursing, and have 100s of delighted customers .
Is it safe? It's one of the least invasive treatments available. Micro needling not only stimulates the natural collagen and elastin production, but offers similar results to other far more invasive procedures. The use of an anaesthetic cream ensures your comfort, afterwards you'll have some 'pinkness' which will fade after a day or so.
Where will I see you? In my private clinic near Daventry. Or you can click here to book a home visit.
How long does it take? The treatment takes approximately 30 - 50 minutes per session, which includes the time needed for the anaesthetic cream to take effect (the actual Micro Needling only takes 8 - 10 minutes.) Best results will come from a short course 4 - 8 treatments, spaced approximately 1 to 4 weeks apart
