Warts are usually firm and rough and most commonly can emerge on the palms, knuckles, knees and fingers. Warts are usually caused when the top layer of skin has an infection generated from viruses in the human papillomavirus family. As this virus penetrates into this top layer of skin it stimulates a speedy growth of cells which form a wart. Cryopen

This treatment involves applying a very fine jet of high pressure Nitrous Oxide to the wart. This will freeze the wart and leave the surrounding tissue unaffected. The freezing temperature will kill restrict any blood supply to the wart as well as killing the cells in it. As a result the wart will scab and after about 10 to 14 days the wart will fall off, and the skin underneath will be healed.
